The designation Dacha Berlin refers to longer-used terms for weekend properties, dacha can be another word for garden house, bungalow, or garden hut. This designation became common in Berlin after 1945 and also concerned the surrounding area of Berlin, where the gardens were often much larger than by today's standards.
A dacha thus actually describes a garden house with land in front of it, which depending on the country in Europe could sometimes reach over 1 square kilometer in size. Of course, such areas do not exist in Berlin or near Berlin.
The property is located in the north of Berlin in the Reinickendorf district, many are more familiar with the term Tegel Airport TXL, which was once the airport in the French sector of Berlin, that is, where the wall between Berlin (capital of the GDR) and West Berlin of the 1949-1990 era was opened in November 1989.

Die Bezeichnung Datscha-Berlin oder Datsche-Berlin geht auf ältere Begriffe für Wochenendhäuser zurück. "Datscha"-Berlin kann auch Gartenhaus, Bungalow, Gartenhütte oder Wochenendhaus bedeuten. Meistens war sie aus Holz und für den Sommer, also ein Sommerhaus oder Sommerhäuschen.
Diese Bezeichnung Datscha wurde nach 1945 in Berlin üblich (Einquartierung von Menschen mit entsprechendem Sprachhintergrund) und bezog sich auch auf das Berliner Umland, wo die Gärten oft deutlich größer waren, als deutlich grösser als sie heute sind.
Eine Datscha bezeichnet also ein Gartenhaus mit einem davorliegenden Grundstück, das je nach europäischem Land mitunter über einen Quadratkilometer groß sein konnte. Solche Grundstücke gibt es in Berlin und Umgebung natürlich nicht.
Berlins Reinickendorf grenzt zwar an das ehemalige Ostberlin, gehört aber zu Westberlin und ist, auch in und um Reinickendorf, mit seinen großen Namen der Industriegeschichte wie Siemens, Borsig und vielen anderen verbunden. Heute entwickelt sich auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Flughafens eine urbane Startup-Szene, Forschung und vieles mehr.

The vacation property is located in the north of Berlin in the Reinickendorf district, better known to many as Tegel Airport (TXL). This airport was once in the French sector of Berlin, so in the place where in November 1989 the wall between Berlin (capital of the GDR) and West Berlin from the period 1961 to 1989 fell.

Wohnmöglichkeit: Nein – keine Nutzung als Wohnsitz oder zur dauerhaften Nutzung, nur für die Ferienzeit, die Sommersaison und ausgewählte Zeiträume im Jahr. Eine Nutzung im Winter ist nicht möglich. Since Tegel Airport TXL ceased operations a few years ago in favor of Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER), the location is now considered idyllic and is located near the Spandauer Shipping Canal (within walking distance to the shipping canal).
The property can serve as a starting point for water hiking, walks, hiking tourism (hiking Berlin and North surroundings), cycling tours, water hiking with canoe or kayak (surfing is not possible in Berlin), and Berlin city tours. Fahrräder können gegen Aufpreis beim Vermieter gemietet werden.

Für die Bewohner eines Datscha-Grün-Hauses (ein übernommener Begriff) war das Grün entscheidend, nicht die Betrachtung des Objekts von innen oder außen; es war keine Immobilie.
Dieses Angebot ist eine Unterkunft, wie sie früher für Wander-, Trekking- und Campingtouristen genutzt wurde.
Viele Menschen waren damit sehr glücklich, sie wollten in einer bestimmten Gegend sein, in diesem Fall Berlin.

Das Grundstück eignet sich ähnlich Campingplatz, wo Sie gegebenenfalls Ihr eigenes Zelt aufstellen können (Mindestbuchungsvoraussetzungen beachten) auch für ein kleines Indianerzelt dazu oder Backbacking-Nutzer.
